It is story of a girl Saloni, a dark complexioned 24-year-old girl. Salonis’s talent is overshadowed by her complexion. Colour discrimination, dowry harassment, subjugation etc are the major issues dealt.

It stars Rakesh Bapat, Neena Gupta, Mohan Bhandari, Shweta Kawaatra, Akshay Anand, Sharad Kelkar and two new faces — Rajshree Thakur and Poonam Gulati.

Saat Phere, which has a Rajasthani setting, is about the journey of Saloni (Rajshree), a dusky girl who overcomes colour prejudices to emerge successful.

Saloni spends her youth thinking that no one will ever marry her. But even when she does end up marrying someone, it all goes horribly wrong.

In this serial Saloni plays a good character. She sacrifice her love for her family. I like her character very much.

Till now I can't guess who murdered Somesh.
Neel is not the killer of Somesh. He confessed only to protect the Saloni. But as per the situation given, I don't think Saloni killed Somesh.
Karan is also hide somewhere. May be Kaveri is the murderer.
There are so many guesses.
Can anybody tell me actually who will be killer?

Yesterday, Saloni was caught by Police for investigation in case of Somesh's murder. It was all due to Kaveri. She had called the Police and told him all about the happenings at the night of Saloni marriage.
Now wait & watch what will happen? Had saloni killed Somesh? Will Neel protect her again and will he get success?
