I feel brushing twice a day once at morning and once at night does ensure that no cavities come up.This practice should be done right from childhood only as this is a good habit and does not lead to development of tartar and plaque too.

Kids are more prone to cavities since they like to eat more sweets and for some unknown reason they kind of hate to brush their teeth that's why they are likely to get or develop cavities. I think as an adult we should practice them to brush their teeth right after they eat.
